Catch the Reading Bug in Summer Reading!
We are having a Summer Reading Program starting in June, We will go for 6 weeks, four weeks with weekly classes. Classes will include guest speakers.
June 5th–1:30pm-Topeka Zoo talking about Insects -in the Bern City Hall
June 12th-1:00pm-Joanne Keim presents Bees and Honey– in the Bern City Hall
June 26th– 1:30pm- Clinton Herrmann( 4-H person) talks on Bug Collections and Mounting– in Bern City Hall
July 3rd– 1:30pm- The Bee Movie and Insect treats– in Bern Community Building

The new playground phase of the improvements in the Bern City Park are nearly done, so come and see our new playground. restroom and shelter improvements are next.

Come the the Bern 4th of July celebration at the Bern ball field. The library will be serving Root Beer Floats from 8:30 to 10pm- 20 oz floats for $2.00. Come and enjoy all the fun!
